Hello Raw Spacers,
Well, February flew by and we’re now in March. Not quite sure how that happened!
This month, we’ve got the wonderful Carlos offering Ecuadorian chocolate tasting sessions from our very own meeting room (with a discount for members) and Gareth has arranged a terrarium workshop a few doors down on Gloucester Road (see below for more details).
We’re keen to bring more activities into our space and make the most of our meeting room. If you know anyone that will be interested in hosting an event or workshop please do ask them to get in touch.
As always, we’d love to hear any feedback or ideas you have about making our community stronger and being one of the best co-working spaces in Bristol! Pop a message on our noticeboard or speak to Emma to share your ideas.

Space News
- We’ve decided to turn the front office into more space for hot desks and permanent desks as our community keeps growing. It’s going to be spruced up with some paint, new furniture and lots of greenery to make it a calm, bright and green space to work. Keep your eyes peeled over the next couple of weeks and do go try it out! 🌿
✨ - We’ve split out our bins around the space into recycling, glass, compost and general waste to make sure we’re doing our part for the environment. Please note we have one compost bin in the kitchen next to the microwave, and we request that all food waste goes in that one. 🗑
✨ - Myles from Bishopston Bagels is still coming every Tuesday with his freshly home-made delights. He’s in the meeting room from midday. 🥯

If you’re looking to connect with your fellow Raw Spacers, come join us at one of our many events. They are a great way to get to know each other, take a break from work and have fun!
We have some running weekly and monthly, so plenty of choice depending on your schedule. No need to sign up, just show up on the day or join our WhatsApp groups to stay in the loop ✨
Mondays: Coffee & Connection @ 10am
Tuesdays: Bishopston Bagels @ 12pm
Wednesdays: Lunch Together on Gloucester Road @ 1pm
Thursdays: Drinks on Gloucester Road @ 5pm & Poker Night @ 7pm

This month we’ve got two wonderful opportunities for you to try something new. These events are open to members and non-members, so get in touch if you’d like to reserve your space.

Ecuadorian chocolate tasting 🍫
Carlos, a third generation Italian Ecuadorian chocolate maker, introduces you to the culture and heritage of chocolate through his handcrafted chocolates and Amazonian roots.
Vicolo Sei Chocolates are made with the finest quality Ecuadorian & Latin American cacao, think of this like wine tasting but with chocolate!
£35 per person for 2 hour workshop @ Raw Space
Includes – welcome drink, pairings whilst tasting, plus a goodie bag.
(15% discount for current Raw Space members)
Choose from March 10th, 23rd or 24th from 6pm-8pm.
If you can’t make those dates, fear not, he’ll be hosting more over the next few months.

Terrarium Workshop 🪴
You’ll learn everything you need to know about terrariums. From the history of how they came about, to the science of how these tiny eco-systems thrive. At the end of the evening, you’ll get to take home your freshly planted garden-under-glass and watch it grow.
£60pp or £54 pp if we have 10 or more people sign up.
6.30pm – 8.30pm @ Wild Leaf on Gloucester Road
