Drinks Social 🥳
Our monthly drinks are coming up next Thursday 14th November from 5pm. We’ll pick where we fancy going on the day, and it’s a wonderful opportunity to meet members, socialise and feel part of our community. Our drinks socials are always open to drinkers and non-drinkers, grab a soft drink and come for a chat! The QR code to join our Whatsapp group is in the kitchen 🍹

Games Social 🎮
Our next Games Night is on Tuesday 26th November from 5pm at Chance & Counters down the road. We’ve got a table booked, if you want to join us let Emma know ASAP so we can reserve you a spot! The QR code to join our Whatsapp group is in the kitchen 🎲
Our last games night was a roaring success with 8 of us bluffing our way through the Sheriff of Nottingham trying to smuggle cheese, bread, apples and contraband into the town. Here’s an action picture of our setup!

Space Updates 🚀
Due to all the rain over the last few weeks, our decking has taken a bit of a hit and so we’ve replaced all the pieces that have worn away. Do let us know if you notice any loose or wobbly bits of decking wood.
We’ve added a new shelf in the men’s toilet to store extra toilet roll, fixed a couple of the communal monitors which are now available for members to use, and given our bathroom a good, old spring clean.
Let us know if you have any suggestions for how to keep our space looking and feeling it’s best!

How do you fancy a free lunch? We’re looking members to leave us a Google review so we can continue to grow our wonderful community 🥰 The more reviews we have, the easier it is for people to find us. If you leave us a review, we’ll buy you lunch (up to £10) as part of our Wednesday lunch club! Use key words such as meeting room, hot desking, office space and coworking 👩🏾💻

Housekeeping Items 📄
A gentle reminder to please be mindful when taking phone calls in the main space or in our phone booths. Noise can easily travel around our open room layout and our phone booths are not 100% soundproofed. Please talk into your headset versus the whole room ☺️ The same request goes for playing content on your phone, please use headphones to watch or listen to anything. If you’re struggling with someone’s noise levels, we invite you to kindly and politely talk to them and share your preference ☎️
A gentle reminder to keep an eye on your hours if you’re on our Bronze and Silver memberships. We trust you to stay within your hours and let us know if you need to adjust your membership level to match your current hot desking needs ☺️
If you wish to pause or cancel your membership, please note that we require 30 days notice. As a small, independent business it supports us to manage our membership numbers and keep growing our community🌱

This month we’re spotlighting Massimo Frasson who’s one of our newest members having been with us 4 months.
What do you do for work?
I’m a freelance Data Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer.
What do you love to do outside of work?
Sports (nowadays it’s mostly gym & hiking), watch formula 1 and build little projects.
What do you love most about the Raw Space Community?
I love the social events and how the community made me feel welcome from day one.
What can Raw Spacers come to you for?
I’m happy to brainstorm how Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning can help improve their business efficiency.
Who would you like to connect with?
I’d definitely love to connect with other data professionals. I’d also love to talk with anybody looking to automatise some of their business processes.

Raw Space Events 🎪
If you’re looking to connect with your fellow Raw Spacers, come join us at one of our many events. They are a great way to get to know each other, take a break from work and have fun!
We have some running weekly and monthly, so plenty of choice depending on your schedule. No need to sign up, just show up on the day or join our WhatsApp groups to stay in the loop ✨

Thursdays: Poker Night @ 7pm
Pumpkin Carving: 29th October @ 5pm, bring a pumpkin and snacks!
Monthly Thursday Drinks: We decide on the day (somewhere on Gloucester Road) 14th November @ 5pm
